A global bakery café brand from Seoul, franchising in the UK towards a target of 200 stores.

A Paris Baguette franchise brings a global bakery café brand to the UK, with a stated target of 200 UK stores by 2036.

The brand was created in 1988 by the South Korean company SPC Group, which traces its own origins to a small bakery called Sangmidang in 1945 and now manufactures and distributes for more than 30 brands. Paris Baguette became the leading bakery brand in its home market and reached Europe with a store in Paris in 2014.

Paris Baguette entered the UK in October 2022 with a company-owned site at Battersea Power Station, followed by Kensington High Street. Its first UK franchise opened at Canary Wharf in November 2024, and the network reached seven UK stores, five of them franchised, with a Richmond opening in June 2026.

The offer runs to freshly baked breads, handcrafted cakes, pastries and savouries, made in house through the day and served in bakery cafés designed for customers to sit and stay. The brand describes its aim as re-establishing the neighbourhood bakery café at the heart of the community.

Why Choose the Franchise Paris Baguette?

Paris Baguette is recruiting franchise partners in the UK and says it is looking for both entrepreneurs seeking a new venture and experienced hospitality operators wanting to expand a portfolio.

The company states that its Operations and Marketing teams support partners from store planning through to opening, covering training, operational guidance and local marketing, and that support continues beyond opening day. Site selection, store design and construction, product development, logistics and distribution are all areas where the franchisor is involved.

Paris Baguette publishes no start-up cost, franchise fee or capital requirement for the UK. Enquiries are handled individually through its own franchising page.

Growth in the UK is intended as the base for a wider European rollout of 450 sites by 2036, predominantly through franchise partnerships. The Westfield London store, opened in late 2025, was the brand’s 700th international location, and Ireland has been flagged as the next market.
