Question 1

Is Subway halal in the UK?

Accepted Answer

Some Subway stores in the UK are halal and most are not. Halal stores serve only halal-certified meat and no pork, with turkey ham and turkey rashers in place of ham and bacon. This list has 76 stores listed as halal and confirmed as open on Subway's directory in November 2026.

How many Subway stores in the UK are halal?

Accepted Answer

Subway does not publish a current figure. Reports gave 185 halal stores in 2014 and 202 later. This list confirms 76 stores listed as halal on the Zabihah directory and shown as open on Subway's UK directory on 3 November 2026, out of 2,037 Subway store pages in the UK.

Question 3

Does Subway publish a list of halal stores?

Accepted Answer

Not any more. Subway's UK store finder once had a halal filter, which its UK account pointed customers to in 2022, but the filter is no longer available and Subway's store pages carry no halal label.

How many halal Subway stores are there in London?

Turkey ham and turkey rashers. A halal Subway store serves no pork products.
