Elite Kitchen Makeovers,
Your customers are found for you
A six-figure kitchen makeover business you run from home, with your customers found for you. We run the advertising and book the consultations into your diary. Franchise fee £15,000 + VAT. No premises, and you never fit a kitchen.
Elite Kitchen Makeovers is a national kitchen makeover service, backed by the UK’s largest manufacturer of made to measure kitchen doors and quartz worktops. Everything we fit is made in our own factories in Swansea and Hull, delivered on our own fleet and installed by teams we have trained ourselves, and we have done that for more than 30,000 kitchens. We are now opening the business up, area by area, to people who would like to run it as their own.
A full kitchen replacement is not always necessary. If the layout and the cabinets are sound, and they usually are, we transform the look of a kitchen without the mess, cost and disruption of starting again. We replace the doors, the quartz worktops, the sink, the taps and the handles, and two or three days later the customer has a kitchen that feels completely renewed, for a fraction of what a refit would have cost.
Your customers are found for you
The hardest part of any new business is finding the customers, and here it is done for you. We run the consumer advertising for every area and book the consultations into your diary, so from your first week you are in people’s kitchens rather than out looking for work. Every enquiry from your area belongs to you, and once an area is allocated nobody else sells Elite Kitchen Makeovers in it. £10,000 of the £15,000 franchise fee is spent on advertising in your own area before you open, so your diary is filling while you are still in training.
What you would do
You are our Kitchen Consultant for your area. You sit down with the customer at their kitchen table, help them choose their new doors and worktops from the samples you bring, and price the job for them on our system while you are there. Some people say yes on the spot and others would like a written proposal to think over. When the order comes in you book one of your local fitters, the materials are delivered to your storage container, and you look after the job until the customer has their finished kitchen.
You never fit a kitchen and you do not need to have sold one before. Four weeks of training covers the product and the consultation, two at our factories and two out on real consultations with a mentor beside you. It suits people who have sold face to face before, in any industry, and who are the kind of person a homeowner is glad to have in their house.
What is the investment
The franchise fee is £15,000 + VAT, and it is the only money you pay to get started. Total investment is around £27,000, of which £10,000 is working capital that stays in your own account. Once you are trading, the management service fee is 6% of what you sell, with no flat monthly fee on top.
