A SMART repair management franchise, run from home with a team of technicians

Revive! repairs cosmetic damage to cars, from bumper scuffs, scratches, chips and small dents to alloy wheel refurbishment, working for private motorists, dealerships, fleets and insurers. It was founded in 2004 by Mark Llewellyn and Terry Mullen and is based in Rugby. Its bodywork repairs are guaranteed for as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

In 2026, the business took investment from Mobeus Equity Partners, a UK private equity investor, alongside the planned retirement of co-founder Terry Mullen. Revive! reports more than 50 franchisees nationwide and says network sales grew by 10% in 2025.

A management franchise, not a technician’s job

Revive! is sold as a management franchise: the franchisee runs the business from home and leads a team of technicians rather than carrying out repairs personally. A new business typically starts with two vans and two technicians serving dealerships, insurance work and the public, within a large territory.

Head office provides training, a personalised local website, social media and Google Ads campaigns for the first three months, and the IT systems and customer app used across the network. Funding is arranged through high street banks and other lenders, which Revive! says will fund up to 70% of the total investment, subject to status.
