The UK's largest oven cleaning franchise, run from a van on an exclusive territory with no premises required.
An Ovenclean franchise is a specialist oven cleaning business, and it is the largest network of its kind in the UK.
The brand was founded in 1994 and began franchising in 1995, giving it three decades of trading. It operates as a subsidiary of Franchise Brands plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which puts a publicly reporting parent behind the network. Ovenclean has around 100 franchise units and continues to have territories available nationwide.
The service uses a specialist cleaning system to clean domestic ovens, hobs, extractors and ranges in the customer’s home, without caustic chemicals or mess. Ovenclean is the only business of its kind currently advertising on national television, which generates enquiries directly for franchisees.
Why Choose the Franchise Ovenclean?
The format is deliberately simple. There are no premises to lease, no stock to hold beyond consumables and no staff required to start, which keeps overheads low and the operating model easy to run. Franchisees choose their own working hours.
Every franchisee receives rights to an exclusive territory. With a large and growing domestic market, that provides a defined area in which to build repeat business and a local reputation, with customers typically returning for regular cleans.
The business can be run as an owner-operator or grown by taking on staff who undertake the work, which gives a route beyond the hours one person can deliver.
Ongoing consumer advertising and business development support come from head office, and the initial package covers everything needed to launch.
