More Than Loft Ladders opens its new Franchise Support Centre

Larry Cuts the Ribbon on Our New Franchise Support Centre
Last week we officially opened the doors to the new More Than Loft Ladders Franchise Support Centre, and who better to do the honours than Larry, our much-loved mascot, who performed the official ribbon cutting to a big cheer from the crowd.

The new centre, ideally placed between Nottingham and Derby just off the M1, was packed with friends, associates and well-wishers from across the network. A great time was had by all, and it was brilliant to see so many familiar faces come together to celebrate what this means for the future of MTLL.

The Support Centre has one job: giving our existing and future franchisees the very best chance of success. From hands-on training to ongoing business support, everything under this roof is built around helping our network thrive.

And the centre is already turning heads. On the day itself we were approached by a manufacturer keen to use our new training area, proof, if it were needed, that we’ve built something special.

Here’s to the next chapter. Larry approves, and he’s a tough crowd.

Show this to your other half

If you’re thinking about a franchise, you’re not the only one making the decision. Your other half is part of it too, because it affects time, money, and headspace.

So show them this. It’ll save you a lot of back-and-forth.

What families actually want to know

1) Hours

At the start, you’ll graft. No point pretending otherwise.

But the difference is you’re grafting to build your own diary, not someone else’s targets. Once it’s running well (and especially once you’ve got installers in place), your hours get more predictable.

2) Money

There’s upside because there’s no wage cap, but it’s still a business.

You need a sensible plan for:

  • startup costs,
  • cash buffer,
  • how you pay yourself early on.

We’ll talk through realistic expectations rather than “six figures in six minutes”.

3) Risk

The risk isn’t “franchise or no franchise”. The risk is making a change without a plan.

A franchise reduces risk because the model, systems, pricing approach, and support are proven. You still have to work it, but you’re not guessing.

4) Support

Most people’s fear is being left on their own once they’ve signed up.

That’s not how we operate. Training, systems, marketing support, and ongoing backup are there to stop the expensive mistakes and keep you moving forward.

5) The lifestyle bit

The goal for most people isn’t just money. It’s control.

More say over your week. More time where it matters. Less Sunday dread.

The best next step

If you’re both open-minded, book a call together. It’s not a pitch. It’s a straight conversation to see if it fits your situation and what it would look like in your area.

Daisy Expands US Footprint with Three New Franchise Agreements

Daisy, a leading national smart space installation brand, officially accelerated its American growth strategy in May 2026 by signing three landmark franchise agreements. The new territories encompass thriving markets in Charlotte, North Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Sugar Land, Texas. This rapid geographic expansion directly aligns with Daisy’s overarching ambition to dominate the domestic smart home and office automation sectors. By introducing its premier tech integration services to these high-growth metropolitan areas, the company aims to meet the escalating consumer demand for seamless, professionally installed smart environments. Local operations in all three cities are scheduled to roll out over the coming months, bringing sophisticated automated solutions directly to regional homeowners and businesses. This success further cements the brand’s strong market position and its consistent focus on building trust.
