The Concept
An accountancy group with ten offices, now franchising to accountants and bookkeepers
Affinity Associates is a firm of accountants, business consultants, financial advisers and IT consultants that has served small and midsize businesses in the UK since 1964. Its core practice runs ten offices across the UK, and in November 2024 the group launched a franchise operation alongside it.
The franchise is aimed at qualified accountants and bookkeepers, including those who already run their own firm. Its first franchisee, who joined in late 2025, brought an existing bookkeeping business in Stratford-upon-Avon into the group to offer clients additional accountancy and tax services.
Growing an existing practice under a wider brand
The second franchisee, who joined in early 2026 in Eccles, Manchester, set out to specialise in accounting for law firms. Affinity presents the model as a way for practitioners to keep their own client base while adding the services and backing of a larger group.
Affinity Associates does not publish its franchise fee or investment on its website. Its franchising team meets candidates at events such as the International Franchise Show in London.
