Paris Baguette closed the third quarter of 2026 with 341 open US locations, 32 new franchise agreements awarded during the period, and 53 total cafe openings year-to-date. The brand is approaching $1 billion in systemwide sales and ranked No. 41 on the Franchise Times Top 400 as it targets 400 open cafes by year-end.
Paris Baguette, operated by South Korea’s SPC Group, has built its US presence steadily since opening its first American location in California in 2005. The brand has held the top position in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 rankings for the bakery cafe category for six consecutive years. The latest Q3 results, reported by QSR Magazine on November 4, 2026, describe a quarter of continued expansion: 15 cafes opened in the period, 22 new leases signed, and a development pipeline that now reaches across more than 40 US states.
32 New Franchise Agreements and a Strengthening Development Pipeline
In Q3 2026, Paris Baguette awarded 32 franchise agreements, bringing its year-to-date total to 119. The brand also secured 83 leases year-to-date, a figure that tracks closely with the pace of future openings. Notable Q3 deals included the first franchise agreement for a location in Maine, alongside existing Texas franchisees committing to develop six locations in Missouri and three in Pennsylvania.
The brand also opened its first New Mexico cafe in Albuquerque, adding another state to its national footprint. These milestones reflect a development system that is converting signed agreements into active sites at a consistent rate across diverse US markets.
Approaching $1 Billion in Systemwide Sales, a Milestone for the Bakery Cafe Category
With 341 locations open and 40 more projected before December 31, Paris Baguette is approaching a systemwide sales threshold that few non-pizza, non-burger quick-service concepts have crossed in the United States. The brand’s No. 41 ranking on the Franchise Times Top 400, published in October 2026, measures the country’s largest franchise systems by global systemwide sales, placing Paris Baguette ahead of many established American restaurant brands in terms of total network revenue.
Six consecutive years of positive comparable sales and traffic growth underpin that ranking, a trajectory the brand says continued through the third quarter of 2026.

40 More Openings Targeted Before the End of 2026
Paris Baguette has set a target of 40 additional cafe openings in Q4 2026. If achieved, the brand would close the year with approximately 381 open locations, within reach of the 400-cafe milestone and of the longer-term objective of 1,000 cafes across North America.
“We’re building more than a network of cafes, we’re building places where people can gather, connect and feel at home. That’s at the heart of Paris Baguette, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our franchisees share that vision as we move closer to 1,000 cafes across North America,” says Darren Tipton, CEO. The Q4 pipeline draws directly from the 83 leases and 119 agreements accumulated year-to-date.
