For the first time in its history, GarageExperts is operating territories under its own name. The national garage improvement franchise brand announced on June 16, 2026 the launch of corporate-owned locations in its Dallas-Fort Worth home market, alongside a simultaneous new three-territory franchise agreement covering North Dallas, Plano, and Frisco.

The move marks a strategic shift for GarageExperts, a Grapevine, Texas-based franchisor specializing in premium floor coatings, custom cabinetry, and garage organization systems. The newly corporate-operated territories cover Grapevine, Keller, and Denton — markets within reach of the brand’s headquarters. At the same time, a separate franchise agreement was signed with 30-year industry veterans to operate three territories in North Dallas, Plano, and Frisco, adding meaningful density to the DFW footprint while further expanding the GarageExperts franchise concept across one of its core markets.

The three corporate-owned territories are designed to serve multiple functions beyond standard operations. According to the company, the locations will act as in-field training environments for franchisees, as well as production sites for marketing content featuring real installations. They are also positioned as a testing ground: new approaches and operational processes will be piloted in these territories before any system-wide rollout. This proximity to headquarters allows the brand to observe day-to-day performance directly and iterate quickly.

Running parallel to the corporate launch, a new franchise agreement covering North Dallas, Plano, and Frisco was signed with operators who bring three decades of experience in the franchise industry. The simultaneous moves reflect a deliberate strategy to strengthen the brand’s DFW presence on two fronts at once: one corporate-operated and one franchisee-operated. GarageExperts also signed six additional franchise territories in the first two months of 2026 alone, including three in the Dallas market and new agreements in Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Iowa.

The garage improvement and home services sector has maintained consistent franchisee interest in recent years, partly because of its project-based revenue model and relatively low overhead compared to food or retail concepts. Homeowner investment in garage upgrades, including epoxy flooring and built-in storage systems, has remained a durable category through various economic cycles. GarageExperts’ decision to open its first corporate locations in its headquarters market signals a longer-term commitment to the DFW region as both a growth market and a system-wide development hub.
