Les Savants Fous Franchise

Les Savants Fous, created by Patrick Rougeon at the end of 2005, is a concept that has been extensively tested and adapted to the French market, drawing inspiration from American and Canadian models. In 2011, the first licensees join the brand.

The aim of the Les Savants Fous License is to change the way children aged 3 to 12 look at science, by offering fun and educational scientific activities.
How do we get there? By systematically involving, manipulating and experimenting, which they associate with play. The Les Savants Fous franchise is like a breath of fresh air when it comes to learning about science.

The sector is divided into two quite distinct universes: edutainment and recreation. These are primarily services for individuals, but also for numerous groups: companies, schools, town halls, leisure centers, etc.

A birthday party at a private home should be synonymous with “Wow!”, while an in-class workshop should reassure the teacher of a minimum of knowledge transfer. These activities are a concentrate of “Wow” effects guaranteed thanks to surprising experiments where every occasion lends itself to the chemist’s apprentice’s game! The key word is MANIPULATION.

Since 2021, a new Brand has been added to the historic offering: “Les savants Fous Tech” and proposes an expanded offering with robotics, robot building and coding, in line with the primary school curriculum.

We don’t really face any direct, structured competition: there’s a satellite-based offering, and nobody else has such a vast catalog: birthdays, workshops, shows, stands, science clubs, internships, and so on.

Each licensee is the boss of his or her own agency, which gives them a great deal of freedom to operate, but they are not alone. The head of the network and his fellow licensees are there to discuss, challenge and advise, in addition to the considerable and well-documented historical base. As a licensee, you’ll be working in a passionate profession focused on children and their vision of the world. You will be surrounded by a team of animators and will be in contact with parents.

Commercial premises are not an obligation within the network, although they are strongly recommended to be able to welcome the public. You can also visit them directly.

The number of Les Savants Fous outlets shows the extent of the network and its maturity.
