Heart to Home Meals, the Canadian senior-focused meal delivery franchise, has announced the signing of its third U.S. franchise agreement, securing a new development deal in Somerset, New Jersey, marking its first entry into the state and further consolidating its northeastern presence. Backed by its parent company apetito, which generates more than $1 billion in global annual sales, the brand brings decades of expertise in senior nutrition to a market where approximately 10,000 Americans turn 65 each day.
A Mission-Driven Model With Strong Growth Momentum
Heart to Home Meals is headquartered in the Boston area, where the company operates a strong corporate presence serving communities across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and parts of Connecticut and Rhode Island. The Somerset County agreement builds naturally on that existing regional infrastructure, with Chris Webb, President of Heart to Home Meals USA, noting that nearly one in five residents in New Jersey is age 54 or older, a demographic squarely aligned with the company’s mission of helping seniors age in place.
The brand’s franchise model goes beyond traditional meal delivery: franchisees provide chef-prepared, medically aligned meals directly to seniors’ homes, with trained drivers who build trusted relationships and serve as an added layer of support and connection. As one of the first 10 U.S. franchisees, the Somerset territory will benefit from the brand’s founding franchise incentive, where the $40,000 franchise fee is reinvested directly into local marketing to support a strong launch and early growth. Heart to Home Meals is now actively seeking franchise partners across the Northeast, Florida, Texas, and other key U.S. regions.
