Greggs currently has <strong>14 franchise partners<\/strong> across the UK, <strong>including 147<\/strong> on MFG sites, such as <strong>petrol stations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through <strong>franchising<\/strong>, Greggs is able to<strong> expand<\/strong> into smaller locations with high footfall, such as travel hubs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tony Rowson, <strong>property director at Greggs<\/strong>, said: \u201cReaching 600 franchise shops is a <strong>milestone achievement <\/strong>for Greggs and our partners. It underlines the <strong>continued success<\/strong> of our <a href=\"https:\/\/lexpress-franchise.com\/en\/articles\/how-banks-see-franchising-in-the-uk-lower-risk-higher-standards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">franchise model <\/a>and the <strong>vital role<\/strong> our partners play in accelerating the expansion of our estate. As we close out 2025, we remain <strong>committed <\/strong>to ensuring Greggs is available in <strong>more of the locations<\/strong> our customers want us most.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its <strong>growth strategy<\/strong> and also to access <strong>travel hubs <\/strong>and other small-space, high traffic sites, Greggs has also recently opened its first <strong>\u2018Bitesize Greggs\u2019 <\/strong>shop in Sevenoaks railway station.&nbsp; The \u2018Bitesize Greggs\u2019 will be rolled out alongside more traditional, larger Greggs shops.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greggs says it opened an average of <strong>four new shops<\/strong> per week in 2025 and added 57 new franchise outlets.
